Here is my lovely Taiwanese roommate, Janice. She is a cello teacher and performer, but also plays piano very well. (this picture was taken in our apartment)

My delicious lunch yesterday. Sorry, I don't know what it is called in English (or in Chinese for that matter)

Janice

I wanted to go for a nice quiet stroll, but I forgot how noisy and busy the streets become after dark. In Canada the city starts to shut down after 6pm; in Taiwan, that's when it really comes to life. So needless to say, my stroll last night was not quiet nor peaceful. Nor was it very safe, as I almost got run over several times crossing the street. Pedestrians do not have the right of way here. (actually, no one has the right of way come to think of it)

Your dinner looks very familiar ... like the spinach dish we had when Sun Li and Zhang Xiong Bo made supper for us in October last year! I don't know what it's called either, I just know it was tasty!
Pass on my greetings to Janice. When I figure out how to post a picture, perhaps she can see who I am too! ;)
