I had an awesome time in China. It was hard to come back even though I love Taiwan. Here are just some of the pictures I took on the trip. . .
beautiful Guilin . . .

on a boatride touring the Guilin water system . . . the views were so spectacular that I didn't take any pictures because I was too engrossed in the scenery.

I'm Lovin' it!

we took a long and very bumpy bus ride to Disong's grandpa's village. the village's name is Chicken Feet village (no kidding).

this was really incredible to watch Disong fishing. he jumped in this big pond and literally grabbed the fish and fought to get it into the net . . .

cooking the fish for dinner. . .

our dinner in Chicken feet village. . .

more of the same dinner (it was quite the feast!)

Disong's grandpa going to sell some vegetables the next morning. . .

Those are GREAT pictures! It looks like you had a blast. I cannot believe the picture of Disong catching that fish - that is one huge fish to catch with your hands!!
I know, I couldn't believe how much Robbie looked like his parents and how much Disong looked like his dad too.
Watching Disong catch the fish with his hands was totally amazing. I wish you could've been there. I guess a picture is the next best thing. :-)
In the 'cooking the fish for dinner ...' picture, are you taking the pic or is that you around the corner cleaning the fish (standing up in the white top & black pants)?!?
The food looks amazing! And the catch of the day ... what an impressive feat of athletic agility & ability! Wow!
That picture of Guilin in truly gorgeous! Those sure are interesting mountain formations! God's handiwork is so beautiful!
You're right about the family resemblances ...
